Practicing Within OMOHC & VBOHC

Oak Mountain Outdoor Healthcare (OMOHC) partners with licensed clinicians who want to practice value-based, environment-first care, care that treats environment as a clinical input, not an add-on.

Providers within OMOHC programs deliver evidence-informed care aligned with CMS value-based principles, safety standards, and outcomes accountability.

Who We Partner With

  • Licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants

  • Licensed behavioral health clinicians (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psychologists)

  • Allied health professionals practicing within scope

  • Specialized outdoor or integrative professionals when appropriately supervised

All providers must hold active licensure, maintain professional liability insurance, and complete OMOHC onboarding.

How Care Is Delivered

OMOHC providers:

  • Practice within licensed scope and ethical standards

  • Integrate environmental, behavioral, and relational determinants of health

  • Use nature-based or outdoor interventions when clinically appropriate and safety-screened

  • Prioritize function, recovery, and regulation, not symptom suppression alone

Care plans are individualized, trauma-informed, and aligned with evidence-based practice.

Safety, Documentation & Accountability

Providers agree to:

  • Follow OMOHC clinical, safety, and risk protocols

  • Maintain clear, compliant documentation

  • Participate in outcomes tracking and quality improvement

  • Align care delivery with payer and value-based requirements where applicable

OMOHC emphasizes transparency, patient protection, and regulatory alignment.

Innovation Without Compromise

OMOHC programs participate in:

  • CMS or CMMI-aligned pilots

  • Value-based payment models

  • Translational research and outcomes registries

All innovation is governed by appropriate compliance, ethics, and patient safety.
